Neo Series SmartScale Storage™ architecture is uniquely suited to growing storage needs. Overland's SmartScale Storage™ architecture enables the robotics in each of the Neo Series Library modules to exchange cartridges by means of the XpressChannel™ pass-through elevator, and integrates the robotics in the individual modules into a single high-performance library robotics system. You can start with a system configured to your present requirements, confident that as your storage needs evolve, the Neo Series Library can easily be modified by adding modules and extending the XpressChannel™. Add drives for faster performance or magazine space for greater capacity, as needed. The XpressChannel is composed of a 10U motor drive assembly plus extensions whose combined length is equal to the combined heights of the number of modules installed in the rack.
